2020 brought a lot of changes most of us were not ready for. Nearly overnight the world shut down. Many were left jobless, homeless, sick and penniless.

But, through all the pain, there's hope. Finding happiness is sometimes as simple as being thankful for what's right in front of you.

How can we improve our everyday lives with no effort?

Many experts feel the answer could be found in practicing gratitude.

"Stop feeling sorry for yourself," we are often told. While it can be hard to avoid self-pity entirely, mentally strong people choose to exchange self-pity for gratitude.

Whether you choose to write a few sentences in a gratitude journal or simply take a moment to silently acknowledge all that you have, giving thanks can transform your life.

Founders Tatiana Moroz and Alyze Sam discuss how the #ProofOfGratitude campaign started

We all have the ability and opportunity to cultivate gratitude. Rather than complain about the things you think you deserve, take a few moments to focus on all that you have.

Developing an “attitude of gratitude” is one of the simplest ways to improve your satisfaction with life. Finding happiness is sometimes as simple as being thankful for what's right in front of you.

Through the #ProofOfGratitude campaign, we are challenging companies, organizations, media outlets and individuals to join us, as well as the partners listed below, in promoting better living through kindness, cooperation, optimism, and goodwill.

One of the biggest stressors in life is economic and financial insecurity. The #ProofOfGratitude team are veterans of the cryptocurrency world and are committed to educating the public about how Bitcoin can be a viable path toward greater economic prosperity and an efficient path to stability for the less fortunate.

1. Bitcoin is decentralized. That means no one group controls it or can manipulate it.

2. There are many ways to get bitcoin. Anyone can buy it in person or online, earn it, or mine it.

3. You don’t have to use a whole bitcoin, you can use a fraction and peg it to any local currency! It can be used all over the world for restaurants, entertainment, travel, shopping, real estate, even to support nonprofits and charities!

4. Bitcoin is not anonymous, but it is transparent, so there’s no cooking the books.

5. The creator of bitcoin IS anonymous! No one knows who Satoshi Nakamoto really is.
